Man Utd produced a quality comeback against QPR taking the visitors down 3-1 after conceding the opening goal. Mackie scored for the west Londoners soon after half time on 51 minutes. The home side responded well with the equalizer arriving after 63 minutes from a Jonny Evans header. Darren Fletcher and Mexican international Javier Hernandez added to United's scoreline and made it a comfortable win in the end. The Red Devils go top of the table with an impressive 10 wins so far this season.

A lacklustre goalless draw left new Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez disappointed last Sunday. The two Premiership title contenders failed to produce enough clear cut goal scoring opportunities and ended up cancelling each other out. Chelsea came closest with Fernando Torres in the second half but his chance was seemingly not meant to be. Man City on the other hand had just two badly executed hopes in the first half. The result left both managers and sets of fans clearly irritated.
