Riots force England v Netherlands friendly cancellation

The friendly match between England and the Netherlands has been called off by the English Football Association due to the riots in London. The match which was due to be played on Wednesday has been cancelled after rioting in London enters its third day.A meeting between the football Association and the police that took place on Tuesday morning, determined that the safety of players and fans could not be guaranteed. The FA made this statement: "It is with regret that tomorrow's international fixture with Holland at Wembley has been called-off."
