Adebayor Slams Abusive Chants from Arsenal Fans

Emmanuel Adebayor has voiced his disappointment at the abuse he received from Arsenal fans during Spurs' 2-1 defeat at the hands arch rivals Arsenal. The former Arsenal hero said he was hurt by the comments and abuse that were hurled at him by fans - who were venting their anger at the Tongolese striker's decision to leave the Gunners for Manchester City.There was also widespread condemnation for chants that suggested Tottenham should have been allowed to burn during the recent riots.
