It takes just30 minutes to go on foot to the stadium. There are many buses to use to get to the stadium; bus 1, 2, 3, 6, 15, and 20 all stop at Campo de Fútbol and Los Agustínos just next to the stadium.
Description of Stadium: This stadium was built in 1988 to replace its predecessor with the same name. It is both the home-ground for the Racing de Santander La Liga club and it also serves as a multipurpose stadium. You can buy El Sardinero tickets at the stadium's ticket windows (also known as "Taquillas"); these are normally open in the late morning hours and in the evenings. El Sardinero football tickets can also be purchased online.
