Estadio Mediterraneo Directions: The stadium is located on the eastern side of Almería, some 2 or so kilometres from the city centre and the railway station. You can either walk to the stadium from the station or take bus 7 from the station. If at the city centre, take a bus from Avenida Federico García Lorca avenue that is headed for La Goleta; it will stop right at the front gate of the stadium.

This stadium was primarily built to serve as the main venue for the Mediterranean Games held in 2005.
