Lansdowne Road Directions: The simplest way of getting to and from the stadium is to use the DART rail system, which stops directly at the stadium. Driving is difficult as the Aviva is located in a small Dublin suburb.
Description of Stadium: In 2007, the historic stadium was demolished and the brand new Aviva Stadium was constructed on the site of the original ground. The bowl shaped stadium has hosted a variety of events, with Lansdowne Road football tickets mainly available for international games played by Ireland and special football events featuring Irish club teams. Lansdowne Road tickets are much sought after as the new stadium is one of the best equipped in international football. Four tiers of seating can be found in the stadium that seats more than 51,000 for football games.
